Simply the best - Do you know how good your product is?
This is a question many companies are asking themselves in this ever growing and competitive market place. “Is my barcode scanner better in performance that the main rivals?” “Does my label printer outperform my competitors products?” and “Will my products still be going when the other suppliers products have packed up?” These and many more questions are being asked by many of the large manufacturers in the AutoID market place so PDT Ltd have addressed this by offering a low cost product evaluation service.

What do we offer?

The service we offer is very much customized to your requirements and it could include discussions with you to decide what particular features you wanted evaluating, how the tests should be carried out and who you wish to compare your products with. We can design the test specification and come up with evaluation criteria. Then we carry out the tests on the products and provide a written report on the results and our findings. This will be a totally unbiased report backed by factual statistics from our tests.

How much will it cost?

This will very much depend on the size and scale of the project and the number of staff required to carry out the work schedule. The work will be charged for in man-days down to a minimum of half a day. At present the charges are £600 per man-day.

What will I get?

You will be provided either in electronic or printed formats a copy of the report we have produced.

Armed with the report you will be able to clearly see the criteria and methodology we have used to carry out the testing, the comparative results between your product(s) and those of your competitors that you nominated and any other additional information you have requested.

The report will hopefully show your product to be the best in the areas tested, however as previously mentioned the testing will be done to a strict code of conduct and may in fact show your product not to be the best in some areas in which case this could be equally valuable to feed this information back to your design team to take a look at and also make your sales staff aware of any “Achilles heels” in your product.
